Sinking In

Ok so, it is finally starting to hit me that I am going to be in a different continent in 9 days. In 9 days I won't be walking in Nashville...I will be walking in Vienna, Austria. It is just blowing my mind. For almost a year and a half now I have been working towards what will happen in 9 days. I have been working to get the money so that I could do this. Now that it is all about to happen, I am starting to wig out a little. I have packed my bags already (just to make sure it all fits) and I feel like I should be getting on the plane in the morning. I don't know if I can handle another whole week of school. It is like my life is in limbo for the next 9 days. I am just waiting for the experience of my life.

T-12 days.

So, in an attempt to keep everyone updated while I am gone, I thought I would make a blog. I am going to be spending this semester abroad in Vienna! It is part of the Lipscomb Study Abroad program. I will be leaving Sept. 10th and returning to the states on Dec. 3. In addition to studying there, I will also have the opportunity to travel on most weekends. We are taking group trips to Italy (Rome and Florence) as well as Prague. I can't wait to leave. There are 28 kids in our group with two professors as our chaperons. We are taking classes until we leave where we are studying German and Western Civ.

I will try and update this as often I can. I am not sure what internet connection I will have yet, but I will try to keep everyone up to date with my European wanderings.
